Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados, sliced into wedges

  • 8 oz (225 g) fresh mozzarella, sliced or use bocconcini

  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 1 cup loosely packed fresh basil leaves, torn or whole

  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze

  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (to prevent avocado browning)

  • Sea salt, to taste

  • Cracked black pepper, to taste


Instructions

  • Slice the Avocados: Cut avocados in half, remove pits, and slice into medium wedges. Gently toss with lemon juice to prevent browning.

  • Prep Other Ingredients: Halve the cherry tomatoes and slice the mozzarella into even pieces or use whole bocconcini.

  • Assemble the Salad: On a serving platter, alternate layers of avocado, mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil. Arrange in a circular pattern or rows for a vibrant presentation.

  • Season and Dress: Sprinkle with sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze just before serving.
