- 1 oz fresh lime juice
- 1 oz cream of coconut (Coco Lopez or Real Gourmet)
- ½ oz simple syrup (optional, adjust to taste)
- Ice
- Garnish: lime wheel or toasted coconut flakes
Instructions
- Chill a coupe or martini glass in the freezer for 5 minutes.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the rum, lime juice, cream of coconut, and simple syrup.
- Fill the shaker halfway with ice cubes.
- Shake hard for 15–20 seconds until cold.
- Double strain into the chilled glass.
- Garnish with a lime wheel or sprinkle toasted coconut on top.
Notes
For a frozen version, blend the same ingredients with 1 cup crushed ice and optionally ¼ cup coconut milk for added creaminess.
