- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: 1/4 cup bacon bits
- Optional: 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Optional: Fresh parsley or chives for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken with salt and pepper. Place in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, garlic, onion powder, and ranch seasoning until smooth.
- Spread cream cheese mixture over the chicken.
- Pour chicken broth around the edges of the slow cooker (not directly on top).
- Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until chicken is cooked through and tender.
- Shred chicken with forks inside the slow cooker or serve whole as desired.
- Stir sauce until smooth and evenly distributed. Garnish with bacon bits, cheddar cheese, or fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
Use softened cream cheese to prevent lumps. Monitor the internal temperature to avoid overcooking. Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or roasted vegetables.
